@ve3qbz It does have that effect on one! Many years after an unplanned trip into St Johns on USCGC Chase because we lost a surface radar. Delightful respite from the North Atlantic Ice Patrol, some excellent R&R, including great sight seeing and a couple of Screech sodden nights watching hockey at its finest. I want to get back in the late spring or summer though!

Applied for a role in a different division of the company I work for, where I'd be involved in stuff that is much more "my bag." Even as an internal employee I had to go through the bot and a recruiter first, but luckily I got a referral from someone I've worked with in the past who is in that group. Got notice today that I at least made it past the pre-review recruiter pile, and that my resume was in the hands of the hiring manager. Now I wait and see if I get picked for an interview🤞
