People are crossing a busy street, cars have stopped for the red light. A yellow tram car is stopped a little further back, and even further, an ICE train is coming into the scene on the train tracks above the street. The scene takes place in Berlin Friedrichstraße.

On the bottom of the frame, water flows in a large canal. Above it, a restaurant has placed umbrellas to protect against the sun. Rising up behind them a eighties or early nineties style building rises eight stories high, its windows are framed in red. The colour has taken an almost brown tone over the years, in some instances.

The same canal as in the previous picture splits to the left and right of a building with a large dome, surrounded by statues. In the distance in the right, another dome rises into the sky. While the dome closer to the viewer has a brown bronze colour, the dome further back has turned green and is crowned by a golden peak. On the canal, a boat takes to the right around the building.
