1. do you have a feature for background uploads (even if limited in time) so that I don’t have to open the app daily?

Just played with a Boox Note Air 4C. Overall tech is impressive but UI is super finicky and translations made me laugh out loud a couple times. No use in my toolbox I don’t think #boox #booxNoteAir4C

Nach drei Tagen #39c3 fange ich an Hotel Zimmernummer als HTTP Statuscodes zu lesen. 404 - Hotel Room Not found.

@skannam testing SoundCloud (German company) for Apple Music. For iCloud+ / Phots the plan is to backup to my NAS exclusively.
For ChatGPT I’m still looking for alternatives or if the free version maybe is enough.

@daviddelven why not on syntax? If the links and knowledge graph breaks what remains are just individual text files no? Maybe an argument for fewer overall files?!

@daviddelven thinking more about it one key requirement is longevity, compatibility and migrationability (is that a word) of my data. Having pure .md files is good for that (obsidian, Logseq) afaik. I’m uncertain about the idiosyncratic use of references and the further planned developments regarding Logseq (database version). Maybe someone can clarify.

@daviddelven primary goal is having a so-called second brain and journaling. Task/project management etc are nice to haves but I moved away from Logseq for those.

@alxlg that’s fair. I didn’t mean to diminish anyone’s work. And Logseq being FOSS is a big factor for me using it. I’m just saying that as an „end user“ the shiny proprietary alternatives look tempting at times.

Phew, if this #logseq development drought continues for much longer I don’t know if I can resist the temptation of alternative #pkm tools. Looking at you #obsidian and #tana
