Super fun being part of Nodes and Biscuits Ep. 4, hosted by @lentsius
I did a podcast episode with @lentsius about #GodotEngine, CSS and other musings.
Check it out!
@Harrison that's a great looking workstation if I've ever seen one!
Super happy with this
Hi everybody, and especially Godot and shader effects enthusiasts. After the last video, where we delved into the third dimension and created an animated shield around a 3D character, I would once again return to 2D and demonstrate how we can generate an electric discharge effect, which could serve as an obstacle in our space shooter, for example. Let's get started. #Godot #Godot4 #GodotEngine #GodotTips #shaders #devlog

@mreliptik aha! that makes sense :D thanks for clearing that up
@njamster thanks!
@mreliptik oh nice, is there an area that then checks for a nearby color zone? I noticed that the colour changes a little before breaking through block
The game jam was a success! we won the attendee's award since we got the most votes!
@MOZG aha! now it all makes sense, thanks!
I love how silly these things look in the editor
Game jam time! A game where you feed pigeons
@MOZG I'm working on a deckbuilding game too and this very much intrigued me! How was it done?!
@bitbraindev @gamedevsenad too kind! Let's grab a beer next time :)
Exciting stuff, it looks like Cardbob will be released also on gog.com soon!
For now it's grabbable on steam:
@runevision oh that's interesting indeed, I first thought this would be a fairly straight standard thing but colour me surprised
@gamedevsenad oh man, that's super kind! Thank you and I agree 100% next time I'll plan even more days to also be able to stay behind at least an extra day (also hoping evening parties are a thing next year)
#GodotCon ended with a nice Q&A session with @Emi and @akien about project management and organization, hosted by @lentsius

Starting this thread with C# stuff I use on Unity and the equivalent for #godotEngine C# I am learning on the way, maybe there is more suggestions or corrections to what I share:
