I feel like I had a nerdy "coming of age" moment yesterday - I installed #linux on an old laptop.
My parents gave it to me to recycle (because Chrome was no longer updating, and they were worried about security), and asked for advice on what to get as a replacement (mainly just to watch TV in bed), and I'm just gonna give it back to them, now that it's running smoothly again with an up-to-date OS! 😎🤓
This is definitely something I'm keen to do more of, to save folks money, and reduce #eWaste.

ExpressScripts keeps trying to get my prescriptions in order save me time & money. The prescription is already free. I almost always stop at the grocery store in the same parking lot so the time savings is negligible.

Due to the report of evidence linking primarily Tesla to child labor mining on Madagascar, major banks, pension funds and other "investors" in Sweden are now contacting Tesla to "get the corporation's view on the investigation [investigative journalism]".
For example, the head of sustainability and ownership governance at Swedbank Roburm one of the largest investment funds in the Nordic Countries, commented that "My spontaneous reaction to the information in the articles is that these acts are not in line with what we expect from the companies we invest in".
The AMF pensions fund jointly owned by the labor union "Swedish Trade Union Confederation" (LO) and the major Capitalism-lobbying, etc group "Confederation of Swedish Enterprise", claims to actively pressure Tesla against the matter of child mining labor as well as having "written a letter to the company and raised the issue regarding workers' rights" concerning the ongoing strikes against Tesla in Sweden (see this https://todon.eu/@b9AcE/111601774523316997 thread).
