@admin you can also exclude our corporate IP range. But thanks for that recommendation. It doesn't work because I work from home and already have to use a VPN to access work sites.
I could use a Tor browser to access floss.social I guess but at this point I think a different instance that is more inclusive might be a better choice.

@admin I mostly access floss.social from my phone so I just noticed this. It's regrettable that the action goes beyond defederating threads.net - I work on #FLOSS pretty much full time, and this means I cannot use floss.social when I happen to be on the corporate network at all.
I respect the admins' decision on this but I might end up using my other instance more

curl supports MANY TLS libraries. NSS was one of the libraries #curl supported up to now. NSS is most known for being used by Firefox - but not by much else.
After removing NSS support, curl still supports 13 different TLS libraries. OpenSSL is the by far most popular choice.
A couple times lately when I tell people I’m not on #WhatsApp they look at ke weirdly, or I’ve missed important offical comms and people have said “it was in WhatsApp” like everyone universally is on there.
