As the year comes to an end it‘s time to slow down and to take a look at what happened in 2025. has made good progress but there also remain a few gaps to fill. I’m so glad that I was able to add 2 quality of life improvements: interruptable dialogues and – thanks to a fix in the latest beta release – accurate paper feed for the GB Printer.

Here are the most recent entries. Have a wonderful holiday season and see you all next year!

These are the 1970s gaming consoles I included in so far. Of course there where more than 16 devices released over the decade but not all left a mark. Which ones do you miss? Please let me know in the comments!

I recently added “Bildschirmspiel 01” from 1979 to . It’s the only home gaming console that was ever developed and released in the German Democratic Republic. Despite Western embargo on higher technologies, the managed to import Pong's AY-3-8500 integrated circuit as basis for the “BSS 01”. Only 1000 units were produced, so it was – and is – quiet rare.

Some images of running on an unmodded . You know, I like modded screens but it’s the look on an original DMG that really gives me the chills. It reminds me more than anything else of the lil’ wonder Chris Maltby worked when he created to let people like me bring their ideas to a piece of 36 years old hardware. 🖤

In , you can browse all the consoles you've marked as favourites in your own collection. Collect consoles you already own, ones you'd like to own, or ones that have special meaning to you. And if you can‘t live without your most favourite console by your side, get out your and print it with Pocket Collection. Violà: a chibi gaming console for your purse or the back of your notebook.

Every entry in contains background information from that is displayed when you press the A button. Accidentally pressed A? No problem, you can always go back with B. Also, you can mark your favourite consoles by pressing the Select button and don’t worry if you switch off you GB and come back later: everything is saved instantly – hassle-free.
