Rwy caru post brenhinol. ❤️
I love the Royal Mail.
A card for my daughter containing £20 had been posted from Llandudno to Monmouth, the envelope was not sealed. The card arrived flapping open with the money visible, but safe inside.
Diolch yn fawr iawn Post Brenhinol

Sunshine and spring flowers on my run today.

There's this amazing old theatre in Monmouth complete with the traditional name of the Savoy. It's everything you'd expect: maroon velvet seats, gold pillars and trim, and packed full of character. They show films and put on stage shows. If you're anyhere nearby, drop in and see what's on.
@ja it looks amazing! ❄️🥶⛄
A cold and crisp junior park run in Monmouth (Dixton Junior Parkrun) this morning! 🥶🥶🥶🥶
Roedd hi'n oer iawn yn Dixton Junior Parkrun y bore ma. 🥶🥶🥶🥶
@davidabbottbris yes, I click on the photos and your text pops up. 👍
Mae hi'n heulog yn Trefynwy heddiw.
Wnes i fwynhau rhedeg gyda ffrindiau bore ma.
It has finally stopped raining. It is sunny in Monmouth today! I enjoyed running with friends this morning.
#Defaidodon #SheepOfMastodon were in the field.
@stephenserjeant I suppose it depends on your motivation for running? I have been running for more than a decade, any PBs are behind me as I get older. I run because I genuinely enjoy it, it's a great way to see friends and catch up. Some days are quicker, some are slower. Try and find the other joys, the scenery, the meditative quality, don't worry about the time.
@edchivers there is a sports shoe wash option on my washing machine. I take the insoles out and wash them and leave them leaning against a radiator to dry. Works for my Brooks running shoes. 👍
@edchivers took the in soles out of mine and stuck them in the washing machine. On the radiator drying for the second week!
@blmurch well done for getting round. It's a bit demoralising when you are soaking wet.
@ManOfRust I just went to the nearest one and splashed through the puddles and the mud!
Trainers in the washing machine for the second week running.

@llamasoft_ox I agree, it's great to join in in Welsh when I can. It helps so much to see other people's written Welsh.

If I occasionally post in Welsh on here, as I would quite like to do as I'm learning, I'm very likely to make mistakes, and I'd be very happy if any proper Welsh speakers would point them out to me, if they happen to notice and have a spare moment :)
This really is the perfect masto instance for me really, given the fondness for defaidodon and regular exposure to plenty of written Cymraeg. I haven't the vocab to grok it all yet but it does me good to try. :baner:
@DesTheRa @Johnyoungc45 yes, I tend to go downhill first, uphill at the end. ⛰️
@DesTheRa I live half way up a steep hill. My options are set off up the hill and cruise downhill home, or jog gently down the hill and puff back up it.
I love Wales ❤️
@Sally_Bridge I ran yesterday, lots of my friends volunteered. We decided that the runners were at least warm because they were moving. Volunteers were freezing stood still in the lashing rain. The puddles were spectacular! This is a photo of friends splashing along!
