I really, really hope that we can get #CosmicLatte released this year. The hardest part for us has been keeping momentum when we are such a small team. We are putting a plan in place to work more consistently, and to get the writing done in manageable chunks, so that should help. Also, I've taken on writing for another character (I've been enjoying writing way more than I thought I would...)

So as it turns out, when I was working on the character system in #CosmicLatte, I totally forgot that inheritance was a thing. Long story short, every character had two different variables depending on what you needed to do with them.

But that's fixed now, so yay for simplifying code!

We've talked about adding VA as a bonus (free) add-on too, so that it's optional. Depends on what scope we decide on.

@ryan_dowlingsoka True! We actually dabbled with making up a fake language for some of the local planets. Could be a fun idea to explore.

@Carionto Very good point, thank you! I agree it can be jarring. How do you feel about a mixture of short clips/generic clips with the occasional full line?

For me (Glimmer), it wouldn't bother me unless the game completely drops to SFX/text only, which is why I ask.

So, question. If you're a #VisualNovel fan, what kind of voice acting experiences do you like when you play? Choose as many as you like.

Trying to figure out the best way to manage #VoiceActing in #CosmicLatte, given the scope of how much dialogue and lines there will be.
