If you paid to access U.S. court records through PACER between April 21, 2010 and April 21, 2016, you're likely to get a check in the mail at some point for at least some of the fees you paid during that time.
A group representing veterans sued the US Govt, alleging that PACER was charging way more than what it needs to operate. The USG denies this, but they agreed to settle and proposed settlement fund is $125,000,000.

She discovered the cause of "blue baby syndrome," helped develop its surgical correction, and was the first woman to serve as president of the American Heart Association.
Dr. Taussig was also largely responsible, along with Dr. Frances Kathleen Oldham Kelsey, for the FDA’s decision not to approve thalidomide in the 1960s.
