- toilets are for peeing, everyone knows that
- TOI TOI company themselves told us that their toilets are NOT PART OF ANY NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE
- people informed us that they where next to a #Datenklo and there was no internet

Next one is a basic #fightstick box. Drilling into wood and acrylic. #🕹️

2nd time drilling holes is way faster and better looking. #DIY is practice, too.

The #mixbox is nice but feels even better with cursor keys for movement. #WASD treatment with clear buttons and a fresh wooden box.
Cherry MX low profile silver switches are interesting once you find fitting keycaps.

Next step is another prototype made from an ice cream box. I want to explore Cherry MX switches (blue) and a better placing for those analog sticks.

While this version is enjoyable my personal drawbacks are the height and the clickiness and required force to operate the blue MX switches; the soft plastic of the box giving in on use; the curved surface of the box' sides being a problem on one of the analog sticks;

I'm looking for a better and more stiff box and I would place the switches lower.

First prototype was made of the box the material was shipped in.
Analogsticks were just glued to the backside. That's something to improve on.

Bought cheap boards and buttons. Start tinkering with possible cases and layouts.

Being unhappy with the error-prone input of clear left/right/up/down inputs of generic gamepads I bought an entry level fight stick last summer. While the Mayflash F500 is nice I felt there is more to explore.

After lots of reading (especially on reddit) and testing I'm now in the process of building my own.

@ff0000 read more about it. 😑
