Any #Blender wizards on here who would be interested in helping to recreate a #Jewish neighborhood in prewar Belarus? We have a 2D artist already working and a couple of musicians potentially on the project, but lacking a 3D artist. There's no funding at this time, so we can't afford to work fast, and it's in an early stage. I'd like to have 3D environments, but I really don't have the capacity to both do the coding and learn Blender and name the models.

I have been informed that my job is not secure & I'll lose it within the next year month few weeks. I have lost my job & housing. Does anyone know of a place in Georgia or Minnesota that has entry level positions for IT or any similar computer stuff? Electronics repair is something I'm interested in too.

I was unable to get any certifications from my current job so I'm stuck at entry level. They told me they would give me opportunities for certifications, but they never came, so I feel scammed & don't feel bad about leaving this company.

I don't know when exactly I'm losing this job but I'm guessing in about a month, so I might need an immediate opening, just ideas about where I can look when the time comes now. I would prefer something LGBT friendly, because working with stereotypical anti LGBT boomers is killing me & I'm suffering in this environment.

If I can't get something in IT I'll take anything with a gay work environment that pays enough for me to live alone.

Hi! Looking for #Blender resources. I need to take a prepared 2D drawing, create a 3D environment for it, and project the drawing onto the environment with minimal distortion and so on. I am trying to create an explorable 3D environment that retains the hand-drawn look. Does anyone have some resources to share on this topic?

And in other news, I've got a new'ish laptop. Ended up with a random refurbished one instead of a brand new "framework". Will probably be good enough for me for quite some time.

So now, in case I should really need it, I can even dual boot into Windows, but my main use will be my usual Debian.

My social media break is good for me so I'll probably go on being on here very rarely.

The time I won is used for a little more/more intense Torah learning, but also for sitting practice. Had done that years ago already, but only recently taken it up again. I know it's hard/bad for some ND people, but for me it seems to work well enough.
