So, this is what I've been preparing for, for months, and actually doing, for the past 2 weeks. Last day today, but back next year, to keep the history and memories of the Battle of San Pietro Infine and it's inhabitants alive. Can't wait for 2025

Image of the Battle of San Pietro Project team 2024BOSPP Logo 2024Top of Monte Sammucro 2024. This mountain was the site of a huge, bloody, brutal battle in December 1943. The Germans had fortified every high point in the region, making it impossible for Allied forces to pass through the Liri Valley, take San Pietro Infine, Then Cassio, and on to Rome.

"Listen, Sixtus - we have been through this. You have to learn to get down from a roof BEFORE you go up your first chimney. Come on. You are the breadwinner now!"

Rees-Mogg family business reverts to type.

I usually follow back, and really appreciate boosts.

Satirical image of Jacob Rees-Mogg and another, possibly son, similarly dressed in toff attire, trying to physically 'encourage' his youngest son Sixtus to get down from a high rooftop.

The sign on the lorry is:

Thought for the day:

If you wear a heavy duty falconry glove to the park, and frantically look around the sky, everyone with a small pet will leave. Also, some with small children.

(I usually follow back, and really appreciate boosts. )

Picture of a wealthy, well dressed child with a falcon, dating to around mid 18th Century.

Infinite loop warning!

Caring people - keep an eye out for the well-being of conspiracy theorists near you. This information is going viral.

Text from picture:

"Just wait until conspiracy theorists discover they're part of a conspiracy to use conspiracy theorists to spread disinformation via conspiracy theories."

@rogward you just need to propitiate the goddess Anoia. "Anoia, rattle my drawers"

Wednesday Life Hack.
Always keep a potato masher in a drawer. Because 'will-the-drawer-open?' roulette is as fun as Russian roulette but without the jeopardy.

@DiverDoc @Mamalafafala Yes, you've got it. AI imaging isn't very good at rendering hands and other features accurately on the first pass. 🙂

Lace gloves

First words of the main model prompt were: "Alencon lace gloves delicate hyperdetailed"

(This one shows a classic AI Imaging problem)

I usually follow/follow back boosters, new followers and interesting/kind people.

@ekis Yes it's true. Quite a few of my pieces are tagged , which lets anyone see all the prompts and previous images that go towards making the final one. The AI 'art' publishing world is already overcome with theft of originals. If I do sell anything, It will be by way of limited editions, numbered editions of say 10, with an encrypted digital signature, and then no more.
