The Thai keyboard is not a Thai-only layout. It’s actually a US/Thai dual-layout, as clearly printed on the keys. A Thai-only layout wouldn’t allow typing email addresses or other Latin alphabet characters easily. However, it seems nobody has informed Canonical about this yet. When I select 'Thai' during Ubuntu installation, I can’t switch back to the US layout without manual configuration. Because of this, I wouldn’t recommend Ubuntu to new Thai GNU/Linux users.
