@grumpygamer haha, yeah at my last job this was also the culture. Really made me socially stressed all the time
@donnyglover Looks nice, like a very lightweight Elite? I would appreciate that, I liked the fantasy of it but it was sooo slow ๐
@donnyglover This looks lovely, what are you making?
Played the first dungeon of Postmark Games' 52 Realms: Adventures yesterday. It's a nice clever game and I will take any excuse to dust off my favourite playing cards! #boardgames #printandplay #playingcards
@ewoud Yeah! I used it for a hobby project. I'm really rusty in unity so it's hard to make the comparison, but #godotengine felt very intuitive and friendly to me!
@ewoud Exciting, have you fully made the Godot jump for new projects, or just toying with it?
So cool! A one-pixel-wide font that exploits subpixels.

@anders Wow Anders, thank you so much for the extensive reply!! It sounds so simple but apparently is easy to forget in the moment ๐ I will definitely try this next time, thanks again
@anders I just went through the same, appreciate the advice. I asked none of those questions, luckily, but didn't feel like I got a good enough grasp on the candidate's hard experience either. Good feel for their personality and how they would fit in a team, though!
Any thoughts on getting more idea about how they actually go about work (problem solving, debugging etc rather than how they fit in a team) without assessments? Or do you feel like your listed questions cover that?
Just received the lovely looking Warped Beyond Recognition ( #mothershiprpg module) by @quadra! Thanks, even the packaging looks amazing!
@kenney This looks very cute!

Sorry to give air to the transphobic Irish Times but this article by Daniel Levy and Zaha Hassan eloquently and humanely describes the situation.
@teahands I like this, it also frees your brain from mulling over the issue from 6 PM until 9 AM the next day!

@fletchmakesstuff These are really cool! Not sure if it's something everyone goes through but I have definitely also thought about making a chess set in the past ๐
Missed opportunity to make the horse/knight a duck, of course ๐
@bram noob question but what is this meant for? From the energy mentions I'm thinking mini headless devices that you could just leave somewhere for months without needing charging? Like smart home controllers or something?
@cebolleta I haven't used Godot much but I partially agree. For me it's mostly weird that the open scripts _also_ differ per screen, so I had my player and game manager scripts open in the level, in the player scene, in the enemy scene, etc. Feels strange indeed.
