A rant.
When I post some good news on some topic, I don't need you coming into my mentions with a "Yes but..." or a "Great but we could do better..."
Sometimes it's okay to just take the good news and leave it on the table.
I make websites, read comics, watch horror movies, play board games and video games, ride bikes, and try to hang with my family and friends as much as possible. Plainclothes goth. Non-practicing atheist.
A rant.

I mostly resent nostalgia, I find its intrusion offensive. Thinking things were better before is a death spiral. But, man. There were moments during peak pandemic when it felt like society began to self-correct. Not always. Not everyone. Please, let that not be the high water mark.
Weird pangs of nostalgia for late 2021, when my world got very small and a little scary, and getting out of the house felt like a huge risk and a victory at the same time.
Finding some covid-era gems in my photos app

That intro is so memorable but I remember almost no details about any episode.
Just realized I never actually clicked the button to sign up for First-Class Fiction from @nantucketlit. I fixed that mistake, and you should too.
Later this year, Apple plans to release the first folding iPhone, a follow-up to 2025’s folding CEO.
hey all, it's bandcamp friday and my ep is turning one year old. would really love if you checked it out today and please share or add a review if you like it. it's 100% modular synths, handmade sounds and found audio recordings.
@nantucketlit 🎉 I have some other ideas for the editor that could be fun. We should chat on IRC some night.
My Embroidered ferns hoodie is done. Or done for now. I want to put some ferns and creatures on in future.

I don't do a TON of online gaming, but I do have a PS5, and my username there is Mola_Rom if you wanna lurk and see the lame games I play.
@nantucketlit Of course! Also it seems like some css thing is causing the checkbox label to drop below the checkbox on the live site. I realize I only tested in dark mode so I’ll look into it.
@juergen_hubert Fairly simple with some basic javascript.
Most basic for markers:
const layer = new L.geoJSON(data, {
onEachFeature: (feature, layer) => {
layer.on({
click: (e) => {
map.panTo(e.target.getLatLng());
}
})
}
});
There are slight variations depending on what kind of layer you're using, but search the docs for map.panTo or map.zoomTo. You can add events as a function of a layer group, or add the event to the marker layer as it's added. Does that help?
