A classic example of why I at least prefer the 4 day work week. Saturday was a fun recreational day, LAN party and DnD afterwards. Sunday was a refresh/recharge day sleeping in and going for a walk and doing very little. Monday was helping one client for 1hr then getting a new car battery and sending in PC monitor for repair - those tasks you want to do on the weekend, but my Sat and Sun was already taken up. #4dayworkweek
Let's just ensure that if the 4-day week becomes standard, everybody gets a 20% raise so that their weekly pay stays the same. And also the minimum wage needs to increase by 20% for the same reason.

Generative AI is in this sense a burden and a beacon; a vast and dull force embraced by management to automate and oppress creative work, that may yet spark a broader reimagining of how we coexist with technology in general. And how we want to make it work for us, and not the other way around."
