This showed up in my local store yesterday, so I picked some up.

To be fair, I can't remember the last time I had a Shirley Temple...

but this is NOT what I remember.

My grandmother used to make these for me growing up. Maybe she used ginger ale or Sprite. I know grenadine was involved. Hers seemed smoother, maybe sweeter.

While the taste is interesting, I'm not sure it's what I was expecting. It's okay. Maybe it'll grow on me.
