Those same observers also spoke of a propensity toward polyamorous relationships within the EA community in Washington — a phenomenon identified by both critics and EAs themselves as an intrinsic part of the movement’s Northern California chapters.

#Bullshit as policy proposal. The entire point of this would be to benefit the stacks. Which means that this utterly horrible idea has a real chance of getting turned into reality.

A proposition about the dangers of AI:

What if the greatest near-term dangers of AI are neither the #AlgorithmicBias so ably critiqued by social scientists nor the #AIDoomer scenarios proposed in the tech community, but the consequences of treating #LLMs as-if they already are super-intelligent advisors?

#AIhype might be wrong b/c it over-estimates chat bots, but it's dangerous because it could lead people to delegate analysis and decisions to #StochasticParrots.
