I'm not sure if this was a failed experiment or not. The leaves seemed to stick to the masking fluid on some of the pieces, causing the paper to rip... Also I was impatient and didn't let things dry 😂

A little experiment with some felt pen spots previously in my sketchbook, adding soft pastels and then black ink. I'm enjoying the way the pastels repel the ink. After some drying I added pen on the top. I'd like more texture next time I think, maybe using a sponge with the ink? Ideas for tomorrow maybe!

Having a play with some Epsom salts, water and inks to see what happened... Well obviously the salts melted, like they are meant to! But there were some clumps left on this one, so I scraped the chunks off with a knife, which has scuffed the paper. Think I'll add some lines over the top next to see what happens

Color is an international exhibition that has been held annually since 2017. It features photography, painting, video and interactive art, sculpture, and installation works that explore colours and colour-related themes. The exhibition highlights artistic experiments with the expressive and symbolic dimensions of color, showing how color can shape emotions, memories, and cultural meanings.

Some close up sections from a Finding Flow session yesterday. I've not had chance to play with inks on a large scale for a long time and now I've been ignited, and reunited, with my reds and blacks. These are inks and pastel sticks, something I've never tried before. Love the way the pastel pushes through the ink.
