We have found maladministration in how @Frontex@twitter.com deals with #AccessToDocuments requests that it considers imprecise or that concern large amounts of docs. Frontex should stop suspending time-limits and rapidly ask for any needed clarifications.

We have asked @EU_Commission@twitter.com to urgently deal with systemic delays in dealing with #accesstodocuments requests.
When people ask the Commission for a review of the initial decision, deadlines are missed in 85% of cases.

We regret @Frontex@twitter.com’s continued refusal to simplify its #accesstodocuments process by allowing people to communicate with it by email. We confirm our earlier finding of maladministration.
We found @EU_Commission@twitter.com reasoning to not grant wider #accesstodocuments concerning EU #COVID19 recovery funds vague and inconsistent.
#NextGenEU is an unprecedented €800bn stimulus package and should be matched with high transparency standards.
