#AliensVsPredator Classic 2000 – scarily frustrating

AVP is a crossover fiction dream. Sadly, the media surrounding it can be a bit… Duff to say the least. This game sits in a weird area of good, but it has issues. The atmosphere is brilliant, the unrelenting force of the Xenomorph is terrifying, the sensitivity of your motion sensor makes you paranoid. The movement speed has you outpacing Usain Bolt. The maze-like structure of the levels confuses, and the geometry of some of the Alien stages makes Lovecraft ponder. In short, there is something brilliant in this game, but it suffers from confusing level design. Hand holding in a game can be frustrating, but lack of direction at times can be just as bad. A saving grace, the levels are short, so you won’t be directionless for too long?
A fun experience if your nerves can take it, but not a must-play for this series 6/10

Oh, oh no. This is not a good way to start April!

Come on over to my channel, as for the first part of this month we will be playing the 2000s classic, Aliens Versus Predator!

This game terrified me as a young-ish teen. Mostly because #Alien is just a terrifying movie and concept. Space is a scary place, there are lots of horrible potentials in that deep void and the #xenomorph really hits hard with some of those fears.

We'll be starting with the Colonial Marine campaign and work our way through up to beating the Alien campaign later next week.
