Looking from Beanley Moor over the the estate of an influential Northumbrian, Ted Wrangham, to the Cheviots (Harehope) Ted's main achievements were having the vision for Kielder Water to secure water supplies and provide recreation and, more importantly, translating "Selected Climbs In The Dauphine And Vercors." for the Alpine Club. Okay, at the moment there is not much of #hiking possible (kids-work-balance hehe), but hey, how about something from my archive for #MountainMonday instead? 😉

2016 #OnThisDay I attended an alpine ski touring course from the #AlpineClub #SouthTyrol.

I was never a good skier, so this was a nice time exploring the mountains also in winter, like here a classic tour to the "chicken" (Henne, 2475 m).

With #alpineclub I thought it might collect all alpine club activities, DAV, AVS, CAI, ÖAV etc. but they need to still migrate here.
I will talk to a AVS guy today and propose this to him 😉
