Israeli media reports that no volunteers have been physically harmed. However, the psychological impact of being forcibly detained by a military force that is conducting a genocide in Gaza, and being cut off from friends, family, and FFC colleagues is extremely distressing.

“After both groups of supporters refused, a league official walked on to the field of play to stop the game. In a discussion with the match officials, players and coaches, he communicated that we could not use the ground while both the Palestinian flag and the banner were displayed.
“Our given options were to 1) play the game behind closed doors or 2) to abandon the game. Clapton’s players chose to abandon the game. Both sets of fans then came together in solidarity with the Palestinian people, singing more songs and holding up our banners in support of trans women and the Palestine people, respectively.
“Our players and fans are united in their support and concern for Palestinians who are being bombed daily. Showing that support with a flag or banner is no reason to abandon a cup final.”

I fear the Trump administration will plant violent protesters among our peaceful protests. They will use this as an excuse to use force against us. From this moment forward, at every protest, we must do the following:
The moment violence or property damage begins, EVERY OTHER PROTESTER must immediately sit on the floor or the ground in silence, with signs down. The media needs to film this. This will reveal paid fake thugs posing as protesters becoming violent. The sitting down must spread like a "wave" in a football stadium throughout the crowd of protesters.
Local police officers will immediately see WHO is doing the damage, and the rest of us will demonstrate our non-violent innocence and retain our Constitutional right to peaceful protest. Retweet, repost, and shout it from the rooftops at every protest you attend. #Gandhi #passiveresistance #pacifists
