I think it’s much better than the cheap and nasty looking offerings I’ve seen. It then got me thinking whether I could do that on my #KDE #Wayland #desktop #monitor. And of course you can. You just need to download a third party plugin called #ApplicationWallpaper and configure it to run
xwayland-run -- /usr/libexec/xscreensaver/glplanet --root --mode globe
and voilà! It doesn’t seem to be too resource hungry though further usage will tell.
