Happy Book Birthday to A Better World by Sarah Langan
If you like dystopian fiction, this may be for you!
"You’ll be safe here. That’s what the greasy tour guide tells the Farmer-Bowens when they visit Plymouth Valley, a walled-off company town with clean air, pantries that never go empty, and blue-ribbon schools." Review posted at wellwortharead.blogspot.com/20

19: THE GOLDEN SPOON by Jessa Maxwell (out now from and )

Fun that takes place on the set of an American version of the GBBO. Entertaining, but I'm not sure why it's won so many starred reviews. Still recommended.

More thoughts on @thestorygraph if you care to look

I somehow missed this hardback release last year, paperback slated for spring release #AtriaBooks : Dana Stevens's Camera Man, about one of my household gods, Buster Keaton, and his importance in the evolution of early film.

Added to my tottering TBR pile (thanks to our Simon & Schuster rep, Nicola), will look forward to this, and doubtless review for @PhilEdwards 's Live For Films in due course.
