It’s a bit of shift to how we’ve been used to thinking about kinesin-1 regulation as we try to get a handle on its conformational dynamics. I lead a research group trying to figure out axonal transport and neurodegeneration. A big emphasis on the microtubules and their motors, but really the transport of anything that doesn't have a membrane around it. For this we use a lot of single molecule methods and live cell imaging. I also post about research culture.
