An auspicious sign? Today I ran into someone I haven't seen in years -- and they were the winner of the Guy Fawkes Mask raffle held at a fundraising event held 8 years ago -- on the 5th of November! I hand-painted the masks myself, and we raised money and food for the unhoused.

It's not clear who is painting the bees, if it's one person or many, or what their motivations are. Some Portlanders are delighted by the latest trend in #StreetArt, others are worried about the cost of cleanup.
