Yeah, I know, not winter just yet, but it's coming! 😜 Not today either (Gorgeous autumnal day with 24C and blue skies all around)! But, still, when it shows up, it can be quite dramatic seeing Maspalomas Dunes over some heavy and pretty dark clouds announcing heavy rainfall, like in this snap shot, and you know hell will unleash. Still, I *love* the massive contrast between the golden sand, the intense blue of the ocean and the sky in the horizon and those menacing dark clouds, telling everyone to run for cover or get rather wet! 😁👍🏻

Am I the only one looking forward to the weekend?!?! Well, here is an idea ... Gorgeous autumnal day at the beach, blue skies all around blending in nicely with the ocean blue softly hitting the golden sand. Lots of sun loungers to spend the day doing absolutely nothing other than enjoying the sunshine and the warmth, the odd splash of the cool water, and, of course, the glorious views of the majestic Maspalomas Dunes in the horizon. What's not to love, right? 🥰👍🏻

Today is one of those days you try not to go outside for too long. A massive gust of suspended sand dust from the Sahara Desert has settled in the island making it almost impossible to breathe and see anything.

On top of that, having 30C by the end of November is also a sign to gently remind you to stay indoors. So what did I do? I went to dive into my photo archive and found this gem from 3 years ago.

Same time of the year, the majestic Maspalomas Dunes darkened by some nasty clouds announcing some rainfall but blending quite spectacularly with the intense blue shades of both the sky and the ocean. At the front, the golden sand dunes with some pretty dark and dramatic aura about what's to come: The winter 😍👍🏻

What a contrast from today's sh*tty weather conditions! 😤

I remember when this observation deck first opened, there were a lot of people coming for the first few months. Now it's not that crowded anymore and that's good. I like being with many people but not when it's overcrowded.
