Going through a #90s music phase, and I’m thinking someone has to have done a study of how much early #childhoodtrauma suddenly occupied the lyrics of popular music in that decade. #pearljam , #lush, #blackboxrecorder, all in one “Alternative 90s” Spotify playlist — and of course there were many more. Nobody I know in the 80s was singing about this stuff, not really even Springsteen. Suddenly we were all processing it via #grunge and #shoegaze bands.

Third Black Box Recorder album continues to be not great, with "Andrew Ridgley" a rare exception and one of the very greatest things Luke Haines was ever involved with.
