It's been about 7 years since I first noticed a "Witch's Broom" in the #Boise National Forest. Until today, I didn't know what it was called. And now I know what it was in a number of pine trees I saw during a hike.

Picture is NB Glenwood traffic backed up from State St across the bridge to Marigold. Sometimes this traffic now backs up all the way to Chinden with cars unable to cross on green coming down off the bench. It never gets old riding past this gridlock. Get yourself an e-bike!

The CWI parking lot will be closed starting 6/15. Esther Simplot Park will be your best bet for parking if you arrive by car. Better, just ride a bike! Surfers bike there all the time.
