On Tuesday, I was privileged to get a look at the planned improvements for the #BrooksMemorialLibrary in #Brattleboro #Vermont.
The #library has received a $1 million grant for the improvements, which will be completed in 2026. No additional funds are being contributed from the municipal budget.
The renovations will make vast improvements to the landscape around the library for comfort, #accessibility, and #bicycle parking, as well as make the upstairs Community Room available after hours.
A lovely time last night at the #BrooksMemorialLibrary, at "Beyond I Have a Dream", hosted by colleagues associated with #Vermont Partnership for Fairness and Diversity: Rev. Arnold Thomas, Rev. Lise Sparrow, Etan Nasreddin-Longo, and Mary Gannon.
