Il Fatto Quotidiano: “David Rossi è stato ammazzato”: la commissione parlamentare trasmette gli atti a Siena
Non è stato un suicidio quello di David Rossi, ma un omicidio. È quanto sostengono, nero su bianco, le due perizie agli atti della nuova commissione d’inchiesta parlamentare. Le consulenze, a questo punto, saranno inviate alla Procura di Siena, per consentire la valutazione della riapertura del caso. Fa discutere, tuttavia, il fatto che per competenza a valutare le nuove prove sarà lo stesso ufficio che ha già archiviato due volte le indagini come suicidio, e che è stato coinvolto da una terza indagine, condotta a Genova, per presunte anomalie nell’indagine, un fascicolo, quello nei confronti dei magistrati toscani, anche questo archiviato.
Per cristallizzare il lavoro fatto finora, la commissione parlamentare ha deciso di firmare una relazione intermedia, che accredita l’ipotesi di un omicidio volontario. Secondo il presidente della commissione Gianluca Vinci, da entrambe le perizie, firmate dal tenente colonnello del Ris Adolfo Gregori e dal medico legale Robbi Manghi, “si capisce che non si è trattato di un omicidio fatto con l’intento diretto di uccidere qualcuno”.
La ricostruzione di Vinci propenderebbe per un omicidio non premeditato: “Prima c’è stato un pestaggio – spiega Vinci – non è trattato di una persona che è entrata nella stanza e l’ha defenestrato, ma di qualcuno che prima l’ha picchiato, l’ha trattenuto, gli ha spinto la faccia, poi l’ha trattenuto in sospensione fuori dalla finestra, e ha provato addirittura a riportarlo dentro”. Rossi, secondo questa ricostruzione dei fatti “stava litigando con delle persone e il fatto che lo abbiano posto e trattenuto fuori dalla finestra fa pensare che qualcosa si possano essere detti”.
Walter Rizzetto, deputato di Fratelli d’Italia e primo proponente della commissione d’inchiesta sul caso, è molto critico sulla trasmissione degli atti a Siena: “L’assegnazione del fascicolo per l’omicidio di David Rossi alla Procura di Siena è una decisione inopportuna e sbagliata. La nuova fase dell’inchiesta non può essere affidata allo stesso ufficio che ha già condotto le prime indagini, sulle quali nel tempo si sono accumulate criticità tali da incidere sulla percezione di imparzialità”.

It wasn’t a suicide that was David Rossi’s death, but a murder. That’s what the two expert reports attached to the new parliamentary investigative commission state, in black and white. The assessments will now be sent to the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Siena, to allow for the evaluation of reopening the case. However, the fact that the same office that had already closed the investigation twice as a suicide will be evaluating the new evidence is causing discussion, and that office is also involved in a third investigation, conducted in Genoa, for alleged anomalies in the investigation, a file – specifically, the one concerning the Tuscan magistrates – which was also closed.
To summarize the work done so far, the parliamentary commission has decided to sign an interim report, which accredits the hypothesis of voluntary homicide. According to the chairman of the commission, Gianluca Vinci, from both assessments, signed by RIS lieutenant colonel Adolfo Gregori and forensic physician Robbi Manghi, “it’s clear that it wasn’t an homicide carried out with the direct intention of killing someone.”
Vinci’s reconstruction would point to an unplanned homicide: “There was initially an assault – explains Vinci – it’s not a case of someone entering the room and throwing themselves out the window, but of someone who first assaulted him, restrained him, pushed his face, then restrained him in suspension outside the window, and even tried to bring him back in.” Rossi, according to this reconstruction of events, “was arguing with people, and the fact that they placed and restrained him outside the window suggests that something may have been said.”
Walter Rizzetto, a deputy from Brothers of Italy and the first proposer of the investigative commission for the case, is very critical of the transmission of the documents to Siena: “Assigning the file for the homicide of David Rossi to the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Siena is an inappropriate and wrong decision. The new phase of the investigation cannot be entrusted to the same office that already conducted the initial investigations, on which over time so many criticalities accumulated, impacting the perception of impartiality.”
