New train pair 430-431#Ljubljana 🇸🇮 <> #Zagreb 🇭🇷, on Fridays to Zagreb, on Sundays back.

Direct train pair 1472-1475 between #Zagreb and #Pula 🇭🇷 via Ljubljana 🇸🇮, on Fri to Pula, on Sun back.

Additional seasonal train pairs between #Divača 🇸🇮 and #Buzet/Pula 🇭🇷 as well as one between #Postojna 🇸🇮 and #Šapjane 🇭🇷 with connection to #Rijeka.

Still going strong: #SlovenianRailways #SŽ class 711 diesel units from the 1970s, nicknamed “Mercedes” by Slovenian railfans. (The trains were built in Germany.) They’ve got a “cab-view” spot, the railfan’s preferred place on the train. 🤓

#Buzet 🇭🇷 is a lovely hilltop town in #Istria. And it’s got an absolutely charming railway station, high up above the valley, even with a proper office for the šef, the station manager 😉.
Buzet is the first #Croatia|n stop for trains arriving from #Slovenia 🇸🇮 on the Istrian line.
