Two #SNCF 🇫🇷 “broken nose design” locomotives: pictured here are a #CC6500 electric and a #CC72000 diesel, both in the green livery (and with the numbering) of #SNCF’s cargo division. Picture taken in the early 2000s at Vénissieux, east of Lyon, if I remember well.

An #SNCF class #CC72000 diesel is seen here at #Lyon Part-Dieu together with its rake of #Corail carriages. The engine is displaying the standard blue and white livery which, in my view, matches perfectly with the “Nez cassés” design.
Picture taken in August 2000.

An #SNCF 🇫🇷 class #CC72000 diesel, together with its rake of #Corail carriages, is seen here speeding through #Wimille_Wimereux station in March 2002. This is the #Boulogne_sur_Mer to #Calais railway line along the English Channel, in northern #France.
