En France, un lycée militaire est une école d’enseignement secondaire, de la classe de sixième jusqu’aux classes préparatoires aux grandes écoles spécialisées dans les écoles militaires.

Ils ont la responsabilité, chaque année, d’environ 4 000 élèves interné·es. Ils réservent plus de 70 % des places aux enfants de militaires.

Les élèves sont encadré·es par des militaires au sein de leur internat et doivent suivre une discipline en rapport avec le lieu : uniforme, organisation sous forme de pelotons, marche au pas dans l’établissement lors des déplacements en groupe, rassemblement pour la levée des couleurs, etc.

Un professeur retraité avait été interpellé mardi 29 avril 2025, après plusieurs plaintes d’ancien·nes élèves du lycée du Prytanée national militaire. Selon un communiqué du parquet, l’homme était "mis en cause pour avoir, entre 1990 et 2009, agressé sexuellement une dizaine de lycéens âgés de 15 à 17 ans", alors qu’il était fonctionnaire de l’Éducation nationale. @12 @starcross Granted, that may be, espechally when it comes to budget and other constraints like space, power and whatnot.

#AVM makes good #CPEs (#Router + #WiFi combo units) that can be had cheap used, but if those need to be shipped to the USA or elsewhere outside the EU, it may not make much sense...

It's also a matter of what are the necessary.and what arebthe nice to have features, as I'm shure being able to hookup a PSTN, ISDN or DECT phone isn't needed either way.

Locked down 5 CPE hours today. My HackTheBox PenTest+ stuff earlier this year is doing some heavy lifting.

I am not waiting till December to collect my CPEs!

• And yes, aside from FreePBX I can also recommend cheap #CPEs like #FritzBox by #AVM and OFC #Ubiquiti #UniFi as alternatives to look into if you want a more "streamlined" and clean / uniform setup and not a zoo of devices...

I put some #CPEs in for my #CISSP at
#ISC2.
Eventually, I was auto-logged out. That's fine.
The window was redirected to #Salesforce. Yes, the #Security certification company redirected my browser to a third party site without interaction/agreement by the user.

So I did what I always knew I would do and waited until the last year of my #CISSP renewal to get most of my #CPEs done. What is everyone's go-to for getting CPEs that are useful without spending a ton of money. I know about the included BrightTalk ones but looking for other alternatives.

Shit….guess I should go pay my ISACA dues…

@mormaid Ah, got it. Yeah, #ISC2 does qualify the type of courses/seminars/webinars you can attend to qualify for #CPEs towards maintaining the cert. They have a detailed list of what "topics" count, and in what manner. I get it - it's an elite cert that touts a specific skill set in #security. How many CPEs something is worth depends on the length #AFAIK. Sounds like ISC2 does it a bit different, and maybe more restrictively than #ISACA. Thanks for the interesting convo! 😁 👊
