@latenightlinux@mastodon.social I'm not sure this will solve the bigger problem, but I found that the easiest way of getting rid of malicious crap apps from google like #Bard (which still involves quite a bit of steps, btw) is via the combination of Shizuku + the Wireless Debugging option + Canta. I was able to completely remove the com.google.android.apps.bard app and the com.android.hotwordenrollment.okgoogle "OK Google" detection service (both are system apps) with seemingly no negative effects on other google stuff. I also tested re-installing them in case something breaks in the future via #Canta and it worked fine and was really easy to do. If you'd like that, I can post the recipe for that here or send it to you. It's important to note that #Shizuku is not on @fdroidorg@floss.social , so you need to either download it from the project's github or use an app store like @IzzyOnDroid@floss.social to obtain it.

He desinstalado mucha morralla de mi xiaomi usando #Canta y #shizuku (ambas apps en f-droid). He quitado la bóveda de aplicaciones, youtube, gmail, getapps y demás bloatware de MIUI y gúgel. Ha sido más fácil de lo esperado, muy recomendable especialmente a los que, como yo, no saben instalar lineageOS (:

PERO ahora shizuku me da error (no sé por qué) y he desinstalado sin querer el 'almacenamiento multimedia' y ya no puedo guardar fotos :blobcatgoogly: Ha merecido la pena.
