On m'a parlé de #Canta ( https://github.com/samolego/Canta ) pour pouvoir désinstaller des application préinstallées par les constructeurs.

Malheureusement je n'ai jamais essayé, comme j'utilise une ROM custom, j'en avais pas l'utilité.

Umzug auf's neue Telefon (so gut wie) abgeschlossen. Und Neues gelernt: #Debloating geht ziemlich gut auch ohne PC und ADB, wenn man #Shizuku und #Canta installiert. Es gibt dabei eine kleine Hürde (Anfangsaufwand), aber das Deinstallieren von unnötigen Apps läuft flüssig.

@latenightlinux@mastodon.social I'm not sure this will solve the bigger problem, but I found that the easiest way of getting rid of malicious crap apps from google like #Bard (which still involves quite a bit of steps, btw) is via the combination of Shizuku + the Wireless Debugging option + Canta. I was able to completely remove the com.google.android.apps.bard app and the com.android.hotwordenrollment.okgoogle "OK Google" detection service (both are system apps) with seemingly no negative effects on other google stuff. I also tested re-installing them in case something breaks in the future via #Canta and it worked fine and was really easy to do. If you'd like that, I can post the recipe for that here or send it to you. It's important to note that #Shizuku is not on @fdroidorg@floss.social , so you need to either download it from the project's github or use an app store like @IzzyOnDroid@floss.social to obtain it.
