I had a good week back at hockey, even if my team was only 1-1. The #CatBite finger felt fine and it was good to get back on the ice. I didn't get as much walking done as I would have liked. G is on vacation, and I kept trying to get her to go, but she was a cleaning whirlwind all day and it was hard to break her out of it. I hope I can pull her away long enough to check out some new cars next week, though. I'll start with the ARIYA, as its Tesla plug is a tiebreaker.

Rainy, cool, humid day today - gross. With on and off rain promised all weekend. Think I'll close the pool today. It isn't supposed to get out of the 70s (21.1C) in the entire 10 day, getting as low as 51 (10.56C) at one point! So it won't heat up enough to go back in anyway, so I'll save the electricity running the pump. Sad, really. Hardly got in at all this summer, esp. after I was told to stay out for 3 weeks due to the #CatBite. I'm the only regular user.

Had a very nice lunch with some ex-coworkers yesterday. We met at the Thirsty Moose Tap Room, and they weren't kidding. There had to be at least 50 taps. It was good to see them. I guess things are surviving without me, some how. I did get to tell the full version of my #CatBite story again. They had some nice things to say about me and I (and my stock options) wish them all the luck in the world. J did ask if I would come back if asked and I said no.

Time flies when you're having fun! I wouldn't quite go that far, but I have been enjoying my time off. The plastic surgeon(!) checked my #CatBite the other day and he said it was progressing nicely. I no longer have the full hand wrap, just some guaze and tape around the finger. But he said no pool or hockey for at least another week, so I'll have to wait until next week to get back on the ice. But as long as it's good when I stop antibiotics, I should be good to go.

Looks like I am nearly back from the #CatBite incident. Just saw the attending plastic surgeon (!) for the followup visit and he said it looks great. I no longer have to wear the big wrap, down to just a gauze pad and stretch bandage around it. We did talk about how much havoc the antibiotics has wreaked to my "gut biome" (you don't want to know) and he said to eat / drink probiotics. If you have any other "probiotic" suggestions, besides yogurt & kefir, let me know!

yeah, my finger really really hurts. But no infection, I don't think. Another appointment at 8am for a recheck. #CatBite
