Dirty Rotten Imbeciles fait partie du cercle très fermé des groupes qui ont permis de mettre un nom sur un style. Le crossover, mélange de thrash et de punk hardcore, était déjà pratiqué à la sortie de cette album (par S.O.D. notamment, et Suicidal Tendencies bien sûr) mais celui-ci en est un tel condensé qu'utiliser son nom pour désigner son style est comme une évidence. Ca riffe à toute vitesse et ça groove à fond! Un petit Graal perso en first press européen!
