Hunter needs no intro. Feingold has studied and played guitar with, and for, some of the greats. Her Youtube channel is a wealth of #Guitar knowledge, and she does cool ish with alternate tunings and setups.

Thrilled to have this early-aughts #CharlieHunter album on #vinyl for its 20th anniversary.
This cd basically lived in my discman around the time of its release. My brother had just been diagnosed with cancer and I had moved back to Pittsburgh in order to help out. Unlike some other music that defines that era (for me), there's uplift & joy in this record even when everything else feels like it is falling to pieces. #guitar #jazz #funk #InstrumentalMusic

Ah, the wisdom of Mike Tyson.
Anyway, Charlie Hunter is kind of amazing. The man plays bass and lead guitar on a custom, 7-string axe, and I just don't understand how.
Here he gets togther with three others (drums, trombone, cornet), live, no overdubs, playing some bluesy tunes, with a solid groove. Very enjoyable (as is typical with his releases).
