The robot dinosaur bird Lego assembly now stands atop the pedestal designed for it. The stand is entirely matte light grey. It looks sturdy, but also quite skinny compared to the ridiculously large mass atop it. It isn't obvious, but the two objects aren't actually attached, just resting together.

It is very clearly precarious AF.

Lego assembly at 70%! It's starting to look like an actual robot dinosaur!

For scale, it's about 1.5m, nose to tail.

(And probably 7-10 more days until it's done.)

A top-down view of a partially assembled Horizon Clawstrider — a robot which looks like a raptor dinosaur, with something of a vaguely quetzalcoatl vibe. It has a large head covered in white armored plates. Blade-like feather-fins line the back of the head, down to the shoulders, and along the back of incomplete arm-wings. The spine looks complete to the tail, which is also lined with similar blades along each side. While most of it is monochrome black, white, and grey, tips of blades stand out in bright orange and yellow.

The same assembly from a slightly lower angle. This perspective shows the shoulders and arms are almost as thick as the neck. It also shows how the torso is incomplete and sits on a hodge-podge base of odd, brightly colored bricks.

Close-up of the head of the same assembly. It shows a strong jaw, with serrated teeth on the outside, backed by a chainsaw of more teeth inside the jaw. The substructure is black, layered with dark grey and white armor plates on the outside. The eyes are yellow and look like LEDs. Silver tubes run from the top of the head, almost to the nose, back between the rows of blade-feathers, reconnecting at the base of the neck.

In the background, Aabriya Iyengar conducts mischief and mayhem in Dimension 20.
