Just got AT&T fiber in SF yesterday. From the quick sales process, to the quick and well executed installation, to the symmetrical 1000Mbps (it goes up to 5000Mbps packages, but my equipment isn't ready for that yet), to the true unlimited data (no caps when it gets slow, I was paying Comcast an extra 40 dollars a month for that "secret" perk), to the 4ms (!) ping, no contract, no equipment fees, I would describe it as "perfect in every conceivable way".

I wonder if they'll give me an AT&T cap as an "ambassador" so I can just walk around my neighborhood and sign people up, even if they give me no commission.

I love (hard /s) that the cause for the firefox SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG I got was because of #Xfinity/#Comcast! Their (likely enabled-by-default) "xFi Advanced Security" service blocks perfectly normal sites!
I found so many people asking for their business' site to be unblocked by this software, and these posts were from almost a year ago! Xfinity reporting support was basically helpless for them.
The wacky-ah "Safebrowse.io" page that didn't load with an HTTPS in front is painful. I wonder how much of a problem this has caused others?

The insecure "attack surface" of the weird random-letters email address #ComcastSucks forced us to use back in 199X when they acquired RoadRunner, which for some odd reason I still check email from (as a POP3!), and which is not mentioned anywhere in my current Xfinity account settings unless ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I mean I was GETTING EMAIL from this (one or two a year, for the last 20+ years). The password was laughable 90s style chaff because why should I care?

We cancelled our #Xfinity #Comcast account today. They sent me an email so I could set up to return our equipment. The link it contains to find a store doesn't work in any browser. So I went to their support site, but their bot went in circles with no way to speak to a human. I so glad we're done with them. "Comcastic” means the lowest possible support and service. #XfinitySucks #ComcastSucks

I called Xfinity after I finally saw my bill online. After 21 days the online bill still shows my account as it was on 1/6, with all the equipment in place. Calling to a customer rep they can see my changes, but I cannot. Xfinity is broken. Online, they constantly and repeatedly lie to you.
