More hexing. I realised that I could use a three quarte stitch to get cleaner diagonals. A nice subpixel action. Not strictly necessary, since the edges will be covered by the pink outline.

Week 2 of the #PeppermintPurple2026StitchAlong . I loved making the border, but I'm feeling less enthused about the weekly motifs. I think it's just because the color of the thread is so pale and doesn't stand out against the aida.

Stitching today has been a challenge since my body is protesting being upright and I feel like my head is constantly spinning. I am still full of delight at the rich earthy colours being used in this pattern. Lots of careful counting so I have the correct spaces for beads at the end.

For now though, it is time to do absolutely nothing except sit very still and hope for this feeling awful thing to pass.

A decent morning of stitching. Didn't do as much as I wanted since a guy came to fix my windows and I'm really tired. Filled in a few more little gaps and made a start on the the length of the gown. A lot of the gaps at the head will be filled in with beads. I'm jumping about a bit with this pattern, depending on how I feel. Stitching is packed away for the day now, because I feel dead 😂
