The advice is framed as activities to do with children but there's some cute ideas in there for adults too!

Some ideas to help your family to experience
the mood of winter include:
• Have a meal around an outdoor fire
• Spend time at night looking up at the
stars
• Use candlelight to light your house just
before children's bedtime
• Go walking in the grass when there is a
frost
• Help the children look for diamonds
sparkling in spider webs on frosty
mornings
• Introduce a family winter story time just
before bed (with all of the family present
to listen to a story)
• Make hearty soups from winter
vegetables
• Pull out the yarn basket and knit, crochet
or weave together as a family
