I love my portable #cutlery set I bought last week. It’s a bit hard to find a set to include chopsticks (even Japanese brands), not to say a full height one! And it includes a cutting knife as well.

This one is from #Donki, less than 4 bucks. While most of the cutlery set I found here costs 8-15 bucks.

I love that #Donki has its own #Taiyaki.

It is quite clear to me that the fat penguin used as mascot for Donki is in fact #Tux, the #Linux mascot. I remembered the same design from my own local editions of Linux Magazine. Moreover, along the mobile stairs I spotted some of the icons of the famous pack (some ex. https://www.junauza.com/2008/03/30-coolest-and-funniest-tux-icons.html?m=1) used to promote #Donki. Okay, today I missed:

1. A kind of bread from the grocery stores that had bits of cream cheese and raisins inside 🍞

Japanese storefront for a mini Don Quijote in Haneda Airport. There are various spinner racks, machines with flashing lights, a sign in Japanese and English in yellow and white letters, and the blue penguin mascot is visible through the door.

I know it's probably a major social faux pas to say anything nice about #DonQuijote, but I'm glad my first experience* was the one in #Fukuoka / #Tenjin. Except for the one in #Kagoshima, the others have been kinda disappointing in comparison. #DonKi #ドンキ

*Technically my first one was the one in #Hakodate, but I was only in that one briefly.
