Nachdem auch das #dotnetMaui Team zunehmend Videos zu Neuigkeiten macht anstatt einen Blog mit Feed anzubieten, bin ich froh das wenigstens Google selbst mit Gemini auf die Videos schauen kann. Gestern wieder: statt 30-40 Minuten Video zu schauen (und am iPhone Nix vom screensharing erkennen zu können), Gemini gefragt, Inhaltsangabe bekommen, strukturiert und präzise inkl. Code Beispielen die genannt wurden. Nach 5 Minuten war ich fertig und wusste: cooles Feature. Sowohl .net als auch Gemini

Sometimes the .net Maui documentation has its flaws. But in the past days I have to say THANK YOU for the online documentation ESPECIALLY the small callouts with .net10 changes like “you need to set SafeAreaEdges to All if you like the page to be resized when you set the keyboard behavior to resize on Android (and iOS)”
I found this and it safes me HOURS if not days. 👍 it’s these small things in a document that makes a difference THANKS #dotnetmaui (who knows the team? Please share 🙏)

Have you ever build a chat / timeline like CollectionView? I mean, when scrolled to to bottom (newest item) scroll automatically if you items roll in.
But when scrolled a bit up, hold that scroll position even if the list gets longer in the background.
Is there a good way to do this? Some demo or doc available?
I have some trouble doing that. Scroll position get lost or lost scrolls to bottom always. And if so the animation with new items in iOS is broken sometimes (weird jumping) #dotNetMAUI

I’m currently evaluating the possibilities to access local calendar events to show them inside my #dotnetMaui app. 🤔
I would need:
⁃ Show calendars to the user select one or two of them and save ids locally
⁃ Read events/appointments from them in a given range (a year or two)
