In the US, Used electric vehicles are selling for less than similar ICE vehicles staying on market less than a month.

I had an interesting chat with the ID.4 controls Wizard. He mentioned several days in software update hell getting car software and controller software to consistent revision levels. #DriveElectric. DLL hell has come to automobiles.

Moby Dick Granny is connected to a tool outlet in the garden. There’s a 20 amp circuit in a bollard for an irrigation pump that I use for the mowing machine and now Moby Dick.

Here at Dismal Manor, there is an outlet on the new porch, and another at the air con compressor. Eventually, I’ll have one added at the front porch.

Moby Dick is in the driveway sipping on Dominion’s finest. On Granny cable, battery charge will complete around 0800.

DW has discovered that the great white whale is much harder to back into the carport than Redfin is. So the white whale gets the weak tea.

Fortunately, a Granny Cable can recharge a BEV to 80% overnight following a day of tedious monotony running errands.

Dismal Thomas renewed the registration of the sultry red thing and bought her a vanity plate, “REDFIN”. When Dismal Thomas first say a gray Model Y, he thought it looked like a bullhead. But the Manor’s sled is red. So Redfish came to mind. This being a hot salt water sport fishery, all the common names were gone. So, I recalled the submarine Redfin and it was free. $60 for 3 years. Rocky looks in on Millennium Falcon after her battery charge completed. DW wandered out to disconnect the Falcon from Space Dock. We charged about 40 % which fits in the 5 hours that night base load rate is offered.

California is swimming in solar electricity on fall afternoons when the sun is strong but air condition is not needed so much in most of the state. California could move fall base load to the afternoon peak in the "Duck Curve" of solar energy availability. #DriveElectric

Drove through the Swiss National Park yesterday on my way to South Tyrol, Italy. The mountain passes and alps had a sprinkling of fresh snow.

Thomas had planned to stop by the Richmond SuperCharger since we couldn't bunker quite enough fuel for the round trip.

But he fat fingered the waypoints and put it at the end! Thomas drove, anxious of a flat can, to Hampton where reached 20 percent. Falcon's Autopilot told us we were bingo to the SuperCharger and gave us the route and called the turns.
