When the enshittification of YouTube now gets more worse by creating a lazy breed of "creators" relying on more AI tools, AI generated videos, AI generated thumbnails, no authenticity, just a descent into more AI Slop which is now flooding the platform more and more every day, not just MrBeast videos, but he's pretty much the main reason why YouTube has gone the way it's gone now.
YouTube Shorts having the worst of the worst kind of AI Slop imaginable along with Farm Botting accounts who steal other people's videos with Shorts Remixing feature and slapping their face down in the corner and call it's a "react" video when they're not actually reacting to anything, or adding anything new to that video, they're just view botting. YouTube Shorts is simply unwatchable because it's THAT bad.
Where do you go now when YouTube becomes an unwatchable platform full of AI Slop? Will YouTube even crack down on AI Slop and content thief farming channels?
What I also found amazing, is that the system wants money for me to create stories

It was a time when Twitter was still normal and I used my one of my Twitter accounts to get into dev.to
Time has changed a lot.
I just came in from a dev.to login. I wanted to see how bad it was now on Twitter.
The user interface has become foreign The icons don't tell you a lot about what happens there.
Strange posts are on your feed. Subjects you would never interact with.
Everything is dark gloomy, frightening just like a scene in a Stephen King novel.
However Stephen King makes Beautiful Stories Twitter is just horror for being horrific.
I closed the tab fast
I went back to dev.to so I could check out the articles I've written there many years ago.
Twitter is now worse than you think stay away is my advice.

I've been a long-time cheerleader for Qualtrics, since they were little more than a couple of white dudes building cool stuff in Provo, UT (and their yearly subscription rate for academics was 1/4 of what it is now). Recent things that are giving me hassles of various degrees, all of which have been issues for 20-odd years:
- No "repeat headers" for slider tables
- Bipolar matrix tables are broken for mobile
- No bipolar slider tables
- Need to know arcane & bespoke CSS to adjust basic things like response option labels
And my 20-year pet peeve:
Let me use words and letters as export labels, not just numbers.
Anyway. Seems like that shit (and more) could have all been fixed sometime in the past two decades.
