Expansion of Aid to #Earthquake_Affected Families During Winter: Online Meeting Held with #National_Societies

Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the #ARCS, held an online meeting with representatives from 51 national societies, with officials from the #IFRC delegation in #Afghanistan in attendance. The meeting focused on providing aid to families affected by the recent devastating earthquakes in #northern, #eastern, and #northeastern provinces, and on strengthening collaboration.

During the meeting, Mr. Delawar provided comprehensive updates on the delivery of food, water, clothing, and healthcare services to affected families with the support of partners since the onset of the recent earthquakes. He expressed gratitude to partners for their ongoing support.

He stated, “The humanitarian aid sent to Afghanistan by international organizations and national societies for the earthquake-affected has been delivered transparently to the affected families and those in need. We hope international partners will further expand their assistance to these vulnerable families, especially as winter approaches.”

At the conclusion, participants shared their perspectives and pledged to pursue their common humanitarian goals. They assured that vital assistance will be provided to earthquake-affected families throughout the winter season, and that no efforts will be spared in continuing support for the affected communities.

Again on the pedestrian bridge, and this time looking east (hence the title). The weather of course wasn't blue like that, but humid a bit and foggy. The scene was shot at f/1.4 (on purpose, I could've used f/8 or higher) but since the objects are mostly away from the lens, things are relatively in good depth of field. The focus was set on the central building in the horizon.
Despite its simplicity, it was quite a struggle to shoot it because of me wearing glasses and polarizing shades (I can't see the LCD with the shades on), and taking off my glasses wasn't an option. So, I consider it a lucky moment to have pinned the focus on that building using the LCD.
I've cropped the image without any regard to any fixed or known aspect ratios, but when I checked the numbers after the crop, it turned out to be close to the Cinemascope ratio (2.35:1, I think mine here is ~2.33:1).
Even though it is generally blue (initiated by the WB in post-process), but a considerable time was spent working on the colors still, along with the highlights and shadows.
