“We live in a country which is deeply divided, with huge political uncertainty.  It can make us feel insecure, worn out, even despairing. But we as Christians also have another life. A more hidden life, but one filled with power and promise. St Paul knew this and put it beautifully in the letter to the Ephesians: ‘My life, (my truest life),’ he said, ‘is hidden with Christ in God.’”

@wnknisely Merry Christmas, #episcodons #episcopal and #anglican musicians and the whole #9LC community! Always a wonderful way to usher in Christmas Eve for me.

@johnclint I've been thinking about this question (didn't respond to the poll, fwiw). I won't join #episcodon because such a big part of my work in the world actually is partisan, and certainly broadly political. Happy to follow/be followed by #episcodons, of course! I agree that church shouldn't be partisan in the sense of party-linked. Speaking as a Dem voter often frustrated by the Dems! I wonder tho, with the GOP flirting with/outright endorsing fascism, how do we not speak to that?

Can I have a quick clarification on Episcodon.net's stance on LGBT+ matters please?

Do I need to move instances?

My first time as tech person at my new parish! We livestream the Sunday service on Facebook, using a smartphone and two microphones on the church's internal sound system. Three households joined us today and it's available for others to watch later.
